Worm Full Moon in Virgo

Happy Full Moon in Virgo!

It’s the last full moon of the astrological year. We are deep in eclipse season. It is a time where emotions are running high, passion levels feel intense, and anything and everything feels like it might last forever - but I promise you, every thought, feeling, and emotion is temporary. Impermanence, impermanence, impermanence. This last full moon of the year asks us to shed what is no longer serving. It is asking us to be brave and release in order to step into our highest version of selves.

Eclipse season shakes up the energy even more than the usual passing of the moon phases. The veil in the ‘in between’ is thinner - allowing ourselves to see what is always there, but might be hard to be aware of.

This last full moon in the astrological year is encouraging us to let go of past versions of ourselves. It is asking us to let go of our limiting beliefs - our belief that we have to work hard just to belong and to be loved - and it is asking us to simply just ‘be.’ Allow yourself to be seen just as you are.

This full moon is in Virgo, a sign that is all about caring for others and healing - but can lean towards self-sacrificing. What are you sacrificing for others? Consider what it would be like if you did not sacrifice, but instead prioritized yourself and what you needed. (hint, hint: you show up better for others and the world around you when you prioritize yourself).

Spring is almost here, and with the first day of spring comes Aries season. It’s the start of the astrological year - the time where the Earth starts to become alive, the days get longer, and the need for rest and hibernation starts to make way for more energy. Use these last few weeks of winter to rest - to hibernate - to nurture yourself. Spring is almost here, and the go-go-go energy is palpable. Prioritize rest and releasing so that you can be intentional about where that energy is going to go.

Earthy Virgo, ruled by Mercury, is a mutable sign. Grounded and practical , Virgos are known as nurturing healers, showing the world what it means to be reliable and calm. Use this energy during Pisces season to ground yourself. Pisces is a sign all about emotions, compassion, intuition, and dreams. These sister signs compliment one another wellAnd while yes,

Virgo is a sign all about goals and getting after it. At times they can be too perfect or put too much pressure on themselves - this is the perfect time to allow yourself to rest. Receive. Relax. Watch how you can accomplish so much when you channel Pisces and intuitively listen to what your mind, body, and soul are saying.

ALIGNED ACTION

There are a few weeks left of winter. Prioritize rest and hibernation. Cozy your home. Create a nest in every room in the house. Set the scenes, the candles, the lighting. Give yourself permission to hibernate and dedicate at least one day to rest before the first day of Spring. Eat yummy, nourishing foods - drink tea - watch movies. Be unproductive. Read books. Nap. Give yourself permission to just be. And while this might feel a little unproductive for you - and the Virgo full moon might be urging you to be productive - allow yourself to rest. And see what magic and inspiration comes from allowing the hibernation to nestle in just before the bustle of spring.
