Welcome to the first full moon of summer. Full Moons are times of closure - they are times of saying good bye to what no longer serves you, so that you can make space for what does. And what better way than clearing out energy at the beginning of summer, so that you can dance your way through the season without added weight on your shoulders?
Allow the full moon to shine down brightly on you, to give you clarity on where you should be putting your precious energy during this time. Tune into yourself. What does your dream summer look like? Think about this while you eat some fresh strawberries.
Earthy Capricorn is all about structure, type two fun, fitting everything in, and responsibility. How can you add to your summer so that you can fit in all the fun, while still making sure that you are taking care of yourself? It’s easy for the feeling of perfectionism to take over in every aspect of your life.
Cancer is a water sign encompassing emotional depth, intuition, feelings, and love for their home. They are deep feelers that move in tide with Mother Moon, who rules this sign. This balances well with earthy Capricorn, who is ruled by Saturn, the planet of boundaries and responsibility. Now is the time to contemplate the balance in your life between structure and intuition. What is the difference between should and want - the feelings of ‘should’ versus what you truly want to do.
Think about the ways that you add perfectionism in your life in a way that is not beneficial to you. Oftentimes, we are harder on ourselves than others. We hold ourselves to impossible standards that we would never wish on our loved ones. Consider ways that you can ease these pressures. Give yourself permission to let go of this heavy weight.

Consider what version of yourself that you are willing to let go of, so that you can continue stepping into your future version of self.
This full moon, let go of the weight that is holding you back from that version. Our old versions creep back up on us when we are surrounded with memories of our past, or when we are triggered. This is not a bad thing - rather, it is an important pattern to simply recognize and to ask ourselves which version we wish to exist today.
It’s summertime. Revel in the play. Give love and grace to your past version of yourself while you look forward to your future version of self. Enjoy the journey on the way to this version. Soak up the long days and the short nights. Find as many moments of joy as you can, every single day.

Imagine a past version of yourself that has qualities you wish to stay in the past. Give yourself grace - this version of yourself existed for a reason, and it is important to grow and change with the qualities we want to have! Send so much love and thank this past self for everything - and envision planting those past qualities in a garden. They are beautiful because they brought you to where you are today. Go outside and walk in nature. Pick a beautiful spot where you can plant those qualities in your mind. This is not something you need to physically do - instead, mentally dig a hole, empty those qualities in, and plant a few flowers on top. Make sure to water it with love. Move on from that spot, and go for a walk while envisioning the version of yourself with qualities that you wish to have. See that version clearly in your mind. They exist. It’s up to you to have them exist in this timeline.
